We’re looking for a Venture Capital Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about emerging technologies, startups, and the venture ecosystem who is eager to develop their investment skills.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively source and evaluate investment opportunities across SmartGateVC’s focus areas.
- Lead due diligence efforts, including technical deep dives, and advisory engagements.
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, co-investors, and ecosystem players.
- Support portfolio companies with strategic insights, fundraising preparation, and network introductions.
- Draft high-quality investment memos and present recommendations to partners.
- Represent SmartGateVC at industry events, demo days, and conferences.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or at a high-growth startup.
- Strong analytical skills and experience assessing early-stage businesses.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Deep curiosity about emerging technologies and the venture landscape.
- A proactive, self-starter approach with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
