SmartGateVC is an early stage investor in deep tech and science-driven startups across Armenia, wider Eastern Europe, and California. Apart from the fund, we are operating 2 technology hubs - Hero Houses in Yerevan, AM, and Glendale, CA where we host entrepreneurs and engineers, run startup growth programs and act as a catalyst for technology, science, entrepreneurship, and capital.

What you will do:

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The Administrative Manager will lead the smooth and efficient administration of the Hero House co-working space and SmartGateVC initiatives by owning the following responsibilities:

  • Supervision of day-to-day administrative issues
  • Preparation of administrative documents using Microsoft Office, book/record-keeping
  • Preparation and printing of daily and monthly reports
  • Management of Human Resource paperwork
  • Tracking and processing invoices
  • Making sure all the records and documentation are in compliance with the regulations and requirements of partner organizations
  • Management of online and offline premises of Hero House, supervision of the facility maintenance
  • Hero House co-working community management
  • Support with organization and logistics coordination for community events/gatherings
  • Acting as a liaison between accountants/lawyers and supervisors
  • Coordination of travel arrangements including flights, visas, and other reservations
  • Taking on special projects, when needed

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 1-3 years of administrative support experience in/working with an international organization
  • Excellent writing and speaking knowledge of English
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Experience with coordinating travel arrangements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple time zones
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Performing duties with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
