We are excited to announce the investment in Facehub, the first ever technology enabling face-to-face transfer on a mobile device. They debut with mobile app to transfer facial expressions to different masks and setting the standard in facial animation software. While handset manufacturers such as Apple are using 3D cameras and sensors with their Animojis, and Samsung with its AR Emoji relying more on their new hardware capabilities, Facehub relies on its machine learning algorithms to do the same with standard phone cameras. Users of Facehub will be able to easily access photos from their iPhone and turn them into fun and unique animations.
“The unique lip-synching technology allows users to speak, laugh and make faces as their gestures are mirrored in real-time. Facehub provides more than just fun emojis, as its users can add any photo with a face and mirror the same expression onto a completely different face,” said Garik Avetisyan, the CEO and cofounder of Facehub.
